The Official Orange County Brand is in its initial stages of addressing a significant gap in the Orange County Government system—a need for comprehensive design services. These services are intended to provide support for various aspects, including government level identity exploration, merchandise design, branding, retail solutions, event materials, point-of-sale gift shops, and much more.
Orange County’s thriving population of over 3 million residents, is known for its fashion-forward and brand-conscious community. This presents a unique and untapped market for officially branded County apparel and merchandise.
Designing for County Government
Building the OC brand
Blending municipal DNA with citrus heritage. The County has a chance not only to expand its brand presence online but also to forge exciting partnerships with manufacturers and retailers through licensing and other creative agreements.
With a median household income averaging around $94,000, and a staggering $52 billion in annual retail sales, the opportunities for brand growth are exciting. These numbers underline the tremendous potential that lies ahead for The Official Orange County Brand.
Services and clients
The Official OC Brand services all cities and departments within all five districts of the county. Currently I am in development of creating brand identity and merchandise collections for The OC Zoo, Salt Creek Beach, The OC Library System, The OC Clerk Recorder and more. The work below is a small sampling of the work I have created. With some additional support from artist Jeff Mcmillan for the killer whale sketch.
